Hardwood Floor Repairs

Repair Process:

Minor Scratches: Sanding the surface lightly and applying a matching finish or stain.

Deeper Gouges: Filling the gouge with wood filler, sanding it smooth once dried, and then staining and sealing it to match the rest of the floor.

Water Damage: Removing and replacing damaged boards. This may involve cutting out the damaged section and fitting new boards in place, followed by sanding and refinishing to closely blend in with the surrounding area.

Loose or Squeaky Boards: Securing loose boards with nails or screws. Squeaky boards can often be fixed by applying powdered graphite or a similar lubricant in the joints or by securing the subfloor from below.
Laminate Floor Repairs

Water Damage: This often requires replacing the damaged planks since laminate cannot be sanded or refinished. The planks are replaced with attic stock if available.

Separated Boards: We'll apply a small amount of wood glue and bringing boards together until dry.
